Bridal Prep in The Salon
At the Sitwell Arms in Renishaw the getting-ready photos can take place in the salon.
This is a dream for a photographer! It has so much space and light, plus huge windows for loads of cool reflections and other effects.
This wedding was a pleasure to photograph, as everyone was so lovely and they were having such a great time during this early part of the day.
Groomsmen in the hotel
I often take the photos of the groomsmen in under ten minutes and this wedding was no exception.
I nipped in here for a few quick pictures before they headed down to the bar.
Getting ready photos in the hotel room
This hotel room was busy with bridesmaids, family members and kids all rushing to get ready. (Which is how we like it! The busier the better.)
I took loads of candid pictures of everyone having a laugh while getting ready. Then later, when everyone was ready, a few portraits of the bridal-party and family looking amazing. (Plus a cameo from Michael Buble!)
A wedding ceremony at the Sitwell Arms
This was a beautiful ceremony. Laughter, smiles, amazing readings, kids dancing – everything you could want!
The conservatory and down by the lake
After the ceremony the guests can have the drinks reception in the conservatory.
Then the guests all headed down to the lake. The Sitwell Arms has a beautiful outside area that’s perfect for group photos and portraits.
Wedding breakfast and speeches
A lot of laughs here, including letters from the French government, sun-loungers, a misheard-lyric game and more Buble!
Evening reception and dancing
With an awesome first dance and a sword to cut the cake, this was an amazing evening!
